Simon JVerified You need to do this! Fantastic! Safari Par Excellence were brilliant in every way. Our instructors, Melvin, babyface, Emanuelle, and Sticky were extremely proffessional, friendly and helpful. A brilliant time, highly recommend you do this! Jessie PVerified Wow I was very nervous but had an awesome time. We were well looked after and the rapids very very exciting and adventurous. The tour safety briefing was very comprehensive and the rafting instructions very clear. I have a great experience and would totally recommend. RobpattemoreVerified Fantastic We had an awesome time when we will remember forever. Our river guides were a great bunch of guys who were experienced, energetic and kept us entertained Owen PVerified Best rafting we've ever done! Absolutely fantastic. We've done some rafting before but this takes the cake. Doing the half-day took you down 21 rapids in the gorge that some of the best kayakers in the world travel to. It's truly unique. Our guides Emmanuel and Aaron were fantastic, very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and gave great instruction. While the rapids (up to grade 5) were more extreme than anything we'd done before, they talked us through each one before we went down and gave good instructions during the run. Would absolutely go back and do it again, so happy we made time for it. Good level of fitness and nerve required, hike out of the gorge is long but fine if you take your time. Richard LVerified Fantastic experience and great value for money. A must do if you‘re fit enough! We had the best time, the team was so nice, we felt safe the whole time and i would always do it again when coming back! Value for money is incredible, we also got so many great pictures included in the price. The views are beautiful, the water is quite refreshing, so falling in was also a pleasure. Thank you guys so much! Would not recommend for people who are not fit for the hike back up after, but everyone else shouldn’t miss out! AmyJayWVerified Such fun! Emanuel was an incredible guide and made the whole trip unforgettable! The experience was packed with adrenaline and laughter – truly the best. Can’t wait to go back and do it all again!” curvesonmainVerified River Rafting Guides are Exceptional! The river rafting experience was one like no other. We traversed 21 rapids ranging from grade 2 to grade 5, we did end up flipping over in the raft which was terrifying but our captain Emanuel had everything under control. The most positive thing out of this entire day was the help and support from our guides Emanuel and Julius. They helped my husband trek the 2 mile in and out trip to the river and back. The trail was much more than we anticipated getting down to the rafts. The trail was steep, uneven, and you had to crawl over boulders. The way back up was even worse, steep, rocky and makeshift stairs out of branches. Our guides walked with my husband every step of the way not questioning his slow pace and at one point had to almost carry him up the final stairs. If it wasn’t for Emanuel and Julius my husband would never had been able to do the hike. With all that being said we did have a good time on the mighty Zambezi river and enjoyed the experience with Mother Nature. StevenVerified An unforgettable shot of adrenaline - thanks to the Safpar team! The Zambezi River offers one of the most intense whitewater rafting experiences in the world and we really didn’t want to miss that (family with two teenagers). The Zambezi has 25 rapids that have their own name and are classified according to difficulty. There is more water here than on any other wild water river. As a result, the waves are higher and more challenging, but at the same time this makes rafting a lot safer (if you fall out of the boat, you will always fall into enough ample water, you run little risk of falling to the bottom and injuring yourself on protruding rocks, with the life jacket you cannot drown). The relatively pristine environment adds to the mystique of the experience. The guidance and guides from Safpar are excellent. After an extensive safety briefing, you will ride with an open truck to the edge of the Batoka Gorge. From there it is another brisk walk down to the Zambezi River, where the raft boat is waiting for us.The Zambezi River winds through the Batoka Gorge alternating between Zambian and Zimbabwean territory in a wonderful natural setting. The guide-helmsman tells you all about the river and the surroundings. There are also two people in kayaks, one sails along as a backup for safety, the other has a camera and that resulted in a spectacular video that was delivered to us free of charge via Dropbox afterwards. At the heaviest rapids, the guide asks us to brace ourselves because we may fall out of the boat. We could only narrowly avoid that a few times, but at one of the very last heavy rapids we still had price. The boat did not hit a big wave and flipped completely upside down, an unforgettable adrenaline shot!It was certainly exciting and intense, but thanks to the life jackets and the excellent guidance, we never felt unsafe. HIDEAKI IVerified World No. 1 Rafting ! It was the third Rafting in Zambezi River for me.I did great experience.Zambezi Rafting is No. 1 in the World.I hope I do Rafting every day. Rémi DVerified Great! Great rafting descent of the Zambeze! The team was very professional, and we went down the impressive rapids in good spirits. Sensations guaranteed!
