The
Zambezi Valley is an ideal location for those in pursuit of specific
bird or game species or want to explore specific cultural, geological,
archaeological or other aspects of some of the more remote areas.
The valley and some of the neighbouring parks offer wide habitat
diversity, ideal for "species-specific" or
"endangered-species" safaris, particularly for photographers
wishing to add black rhino, leopard, wild dog and lion or specific birds
to their photographic collections.
Aside from the exceptionally good opportunities afforded by walking
safaris, Zambia is also one of the few southern African safari
destinations in which night drives may be conducted in the National
Parks and Game Management Areas. Nocturnal species, particularly
leopard are a well-earned prize for both amateur and professional
photographers. |
